The apartment

A 2-bedroom apartment with pool in Salvador, away from the tourist bubble

Caminho das Árvores is where Salvador lives: a modern, residential quarter between the city’s two big malls, with office towers, parks and neighborhood restaurants instead of souvenir stalls. Mornings start with coffee on the balcony above the skyline; evenings end by the pool.

The beaches of Pituba, the historic center of Pelourinho, Rio Vermelho’s bars and the Carnaval circuits are all a short ride away, and the airport is closer than from almost anywhere in town. You get the city at your door and quiet nights to come back to.

Location

Where you’ll be: Caminho das Árvores

A planned neighborhood from the 1970s, laid out around streets called alamedas, each named after a tree. Today it’s Salvador’s modern business district: office towers on Avenida Tancredo Neves, two of the city’s biggest malls, parks and plenty of places to eat, with Pituba and the sea just beyond.
